Introduction

Welcome to National Scientific Writing Workshop 2023

The Publishing Process is a rather long process and requires careful preparation and sufficient experience. The publication target is in refereed journals with academic impact.


Hence, it is important that a manuscript is prepared to meet the requirements of those journals. The selection of journals needs to be taken into account so that the resulting manuscript will give impact not only to the society but globally. 


This 2-day workshop involves lectures (first day) and group discussions (second day) giving way to the preparation, writing and evaluation of manuscripts related to original articles, case reports and article reviews in the field of Hematology/Transfusion Medicine with the facilitators and further improving chance of publishing the manuscript. 


WHO SHOULD ATTEND

DAY 1 (Seminar)

It is conducted either Face to face or Virtual Seminar. Up the the preference of participant)

Open For ALL academicians & non-academicians.


DAY 2 (Workshop):

a. It will be conducted face to face. 
b. limited to 30 participants ONLY 
c. Articles should be in the area of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine ONLY)

2. Scientific officers 

3. Postgraduates students 


Workshop participants are asked to prepare and send your respective manuscripts to the secretariat no later than 30 days (a month, i.e. 15th May 2023) before the workshop and bring their respective laptops throughout the course.


SEMINAR & WORKSHOP OBJECTIVE

1. Provide awareness and re-emphasis on the good and quality manuscript writing process.

2. Provide exposure and assist to select the type of refereed journal 

3. Train and give confidence in manuscript writing 

4. Assist in the process of manuscript submission

5. Increase participant visibility through publication
